Logos Bible Software 4 and iPhone app

Yesterday, Logos Bible Software announced their new version of their Bible studying software: Logos Bible Software 4. Logos 4 is an extremely powerful tool in studying the Bible. From a home user to the Bible scholar, Logos offers many resources and tools in it’s new release. In the new version alone, they have a list of 100 new features in Logos 4. Here is some to note:

Home Page – Like a daily newspaper for Bible study. Helps answer the question, “Where should I start?”
Library – Powerful new library tool lets you search for content using bibliographic data and book descriptions. Sort on any field, preview extended information about resources, and prioritize your favorite books.
Power Lookup tool – Automatically look up cross references and footnotes within your book, or highlight a range of Bible verses for a quick preview of just what you’ve selected.
Drawing Mode – The F8 key effectively lays a transparency sheet over your screen. Click and drag the mouse to draw with colored markers, circling or highlighting anything on your screen. The mouse wheel switches pen colors, and the Escape key clears it all. Great for teaching with a projector.
Handouts – Create attractive, ready-to-print handouts related to your Bible passage. Edit the handouts to include your own content or clippings.
Biblical People – An amazing database of every person in the Bible, complete with family tree and story diagrams you can style, print, copy, and send to PowerPoint. Every person is described, distinguished from others with the same name, and linked to exactly the right articles in appropriate reference books.
Hebrew transliteration – Multiple options for Hebrew including a number of new technical schemes for precise transliteration.
Bible Word Study Guide – Choose any Greek or Hebrew word in a Bible, or right-click in a reverse interlinearized translation like the KJV, ESV, or NRSV, and run a Bible Word Study. The result is an unparalleled

Capture Another announcement from Logos is the addition of an iPhone app for iPhone and iPod Touch users. You can now take an entire Bible studying library with you in the palm of your hand. This is a welcome addition to any seminary/ministry student or pastor; as well as anyone attending or teaching a Bible study group or church class. The app provides a passage guide, text comparison, word study guide, Greek, Hebrew, and more! I’ve been using it for the past couple of days, and was surprised and impressed at how many tools are packed in there.

How do you like the interface in this updated version?

I have to wait for the Mac version… are you a writer on a PC, Brett?

I go CRAZY over Bible Study tools. Cool…

  I actually went with Bible Glo ( http://godlysheep.com/glo-the-digital-interactive... ) which is another awesome Bible study tool. Not as much history as Logos has, or as much resources but they're great.
  
  Logos, however, blows everyone out of the water with their shockingly powerful iPhone app. Plus you can't beat the app's price: Free. This app makes buying an iPhone/iPod Touch totally worth it.
  
  Oh and I go crazy over these Bible study tools too. You're in good company.
