There is so much in life as a Christian I have to be thankful for, that it is hard to know where to begin.  I guess I will start out with the most important, which is my salvation.  I am so thankful that God loved me so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment for my sin and die for me.  I think of my favorite song, It Is Well. The third verse of the song says, “My sin, Oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!  My sin, not in part, but the whole was nailed to the cross and I bear it no more! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! I’m excited to announce next week as Blessings Week at GodlySheep! All next week, we’ll be talking about blessings from God. (No, this will not be the prosperity gospel) Sometimes we get caught up on what we need, that we forget what we already have. We’ll be discussing anything from personal blessings, lessons about thankfulness, being a blessing to others, and much more!

In order for Blessings Week to be a success though, we’ll need your help! If you have anything that you’d like to share or talk about, let us know! You can email us (tips@godlysheep.com) or message us on Facebook or Twitter. It can be anything from a simple, “I’m thankful for________” or a story of how God recently blessed your life. Really, anything you’d like to talk about.

We hope that this will be a great time of faith and fellowship, and that it will be uplifting to your spirit before the Holidays go into full throttle. So keep us in your prayers and internet browsers for next week. It should be a lot of fun (and humbling) just praising God for everything.
