Monday Morning High Five

Continuing our list of all things 5 to hopefully bring a smile to your Monday.

God is weird. At least from our perspective He is. In our mind it would be so easy to fix things. World hunger? Make it rain Buffalo Chicken Subs from Subway. Broken economy? Heavenly bailout! See? Pretty easy. Sometimes Most often our “easy way out” isn’t what’s best for us in the long run, and for whatever reason, certain things happen that we’ll never understand. One thing we’ll never understand in full is a blessing from God. Blessings can come in all shapes and forms. Sometimes they are exactly what you hope them to be: Family, freedom, employment.  Other times, blessings come in a form that doesn’t instantly make itself aware as a blessing. In fact, they can look like the exact opposite of a blessing, but God gave it to you to be a help.

You can call these “blessings in disguise” or whatever you’d like, but here is my list of the top five overlooked blessings: (more…)
