Since Thanksgiving is next week, I thought I’d share a variety of Sunday School projects suitable for different ages.

*Teens & Up* How long can you pray and ONLY praise God? Encourage your class to take time this week-to set a 30 minute timer and pray to God -in complete thanksgiving. Report back the following Sunday on how it went.

*Grade School & Up* Give out the references to thanksgiving on slips of paper at the beginning of the class. Have the kids look up the verse, then read it out loud and share what they are thankful for. Ex: “I am thankful for…”

*Ages 4-8* Make a Thanksgiving Tree – Create a tree with many branches on a sheet of heavy-duty construction paper. Cut out the shapes of fall colored leaves. Leave them blank and have the kids write what he or she is thankful for on a single leaf. Paste the leaves on the tree and use the tree to decorate your class. Or make out a tree for everyone to take home, and have everyone put the thankful leaves on each others trees.

Share with us your ideas for Thanksgiving Sunday!
