Verse of the Week: Ephesians 1:3

This thanksgiving, I have a very busy schedule. It’s my first thanksgiving being a part of a couple. So  Daniel and I  have decided, instead of picking one family over the other, to do both! Maybe we are crazy, but its impossible to pick just one. On top of that I have to work the holiday morning shift. Did I mention I will be going to Chicago for the weekend to spend time with my sister and brother in law?

So I am already determining to ‘count my blessings, name them one by one.’ I find when the busyness hits, I have to plan ahead of time to focus on God. So this week, I actually found the verse of the week on Sunday, and have been focusing on it since then!

Eph.1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Praise God, He sought me out. He rescued me from my life of sin and I am blessed. We not only have salvation from Hell, but a right standing with God. I am truly thankful and in awe of what God has done
